Well I just started the blog and I already can't seem to be able to keep it up to-to-date. I'm going to blame it on the fact that my computer hasn't been working for the past week but now I have it back and I'm ready to go!
Two weeks ago, I headed to Texas for the weekend for my first baby shower and of course to go to the rodeo! Munchkin got to experience his first rodeo where we saw Zac Brown Band and Brad Paisley! I think he may just enjoy it a little more in a few years and he better like it as much as his momma does. Even though Chris is from Pittsburgh, this was his third year to come to the rodeo and he has the rodeo bug too! We were able to buy a cow hide rug for Munchkin's nursery so I can't wait to put it in his room!
While in Houston I got to spend time with my sweet friend Robin who is also pregnant. Her little Nash is due just 2 weeks before Munchkin. Robin and her sister Whitney and I have been friends for almost 23 years. We grew up across the street from each other and its such a special time to be able to share with such an old friend. Seeing Robin and her husband Blake's new home made me wanna move across the street so Munchkin and Nash can be best friends! I wasn't able to see Whitney because she was in Orlando for Spring Break, which I must say made Chris and I jealous! We want to go to Harry Potter world so bad but I think were have to wait a bit for that.
While in Houston I attended my first baby shower. Munchkin is already such a spoiled little boy and loved by so many. Two of our family friends, Charlotte and Jessie threw the shower for Munchkin and I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful ladies in my life. Thank you to everyone who came!!

Baby Basics
Today, Chris and I attended our first baby class. It was called Baby Basics and was suppose to teach us all the basics of taking care of a newborn. Because Chris had never changed a diaper or even held a newborn I was hoping to have some funny stories to tell from the class, but I don't. It was pretty basic information but I think it will help once our munchkin gets here. As far as changing diaper, Chris has now changed a diaper on a baby doll and did a great job, so as long as our child doesn't move and his diaper isn't actually dirty, it should be a piece of cake for Chris.
I think the the biggest thing that i got out of the class was watching a video of newborn care and realizing that in less than 3 months I'm gonna have our little munchkin in my arms!

Why the blog name?
First off, let me say that I'm new to the blogging world! Although Ive read (Actually stalked) other people's blogs thru facebook for some time now, this is my first time writing a blog. Please don't get to excited because as you will soon learn the Poole family leads a pretty mundane life!
As far as the name of the blog, I wanted to come up with something fun! No Chris and I are not actually homeless and living in a cardboard box, our home life is confusing and quite frankly crazy. We work as abstractors for an oil and gas company and live literally out of boxes/suitcases. Although we are in the process of buying our first home in Kirkwood, Missouri, we are currently renting a house in Dubois. Pennsylvania. It makes the question "where are you from" quite difficult to answer! If that wasn't confusing enough, it looks like we will be moving back into a hotel next month! Doesn't it sound fun to have a husband, a 7.5 month pregnant woman, and a 85lb dog all living in a hotel room....really its quite "cozy"!
